Ramadan’s vanilla sugar cookies are here

Posted by: Nizar on: September 28, 2007

Well, Kinzi has posted a Ramadan cookie recipe for his new readers so I have decided to try it although I’m not really a new reader of his blog ^^

The next day was my small sister Sumaya’s birthday so I have decided to double the quantity so that there will be enough for everytbody, I had most of the things that I needed for the making the cookies, everything was clear and easy thanks to Kinzi. :P

I was about to make a huge mistake which is that I almost used baking powder instead of baking soda, luckily my mom noticed it and warned me about it :P

This was the first time that I have baked something by myself, It was a pretty nice experience and something nice to do for my small sister Sumaya.

I have also made a 5 minutes short video of the procedure witch I have uploaded, I hope you like it.

I wasn’t really sure what kind of music should I add to this video, I was thinking of adding Mad World by Jules but it didn’t really fit in with the Ramadan cookies so I have chosen a soft piano play by Cynthia Jordan.

The cookies tasted really good, everybody liked them specially my brother Mohammad ‘The cookie monster

Have some please, Tfadalo :D

Nizar, you did an EXCELLENT job!! They look perfectly baked and shaped. You are a sweet big brother to Sumaya, and I’m sure Mohammad has you pegged as a new baker in the family. Allah yatiik ilafiyya!

btw, I am a lady, of the middle-aged American mom variety. :D Tell your mom I said she did well!

Nice job!
i see you as a competitor now! i should be careful of talented people like you!

The music is a perfect choice….i wish there was a way for us the readers to smell the cookies coming fresh out of the oven!!

Nizar,
Kinzi is a blond American She :-)

Wow, good job! I’ll have to try that soon

aaawwwwww that’s so cute!!!!!

Kinzi: Thanks a lot, I’m really Glad that you liked them :D

BTW, you forgot to mention that a mixer is needed in the recipe :P

LOL, I’m really sorry about that, I didn’t really find an about me page in your blog.
No wonder why I thought you were a bit nicer than the average male bloggers ^^

CTEW:
HAHA, I wish so too, It smelled really good, thanks.

Jad:
I really didn’t know that, I always thought that Kinzi was a nice religious middle-aged man who is usually more concerned about womens rights and Jordanian taxi driver issues.
No wonder why her English is really good :P

Deemco:
Yeah, you should, it was really fun to bake them ^^

Asoom:
Thanks, I’m glad that you liked it :D

Nizar, you are so funny, I should post your comment! But hey, you got middle-aged right on, and I’m glad my English passed.

(I don’t use a mixer. Good strong right arm)
