USB 3.0 is coming at ten times speed of USB 2.0

With the increased memory size of USB device to 16G, it is critical to have high transfer speed. Intel and other companies started to promote the third generation of USB which will transfer data at up to 4.8 Gbits/s, ten times faster than current USB standard which is 480 Mbits/s.

I think you should use the correct lingo here: “Speeds of up to 4.8Gb/s. It will add a huge strain on the current chipsets and buses to perform that. Especially when USB bus is shared by tens even hundreds of devices.
Same problem with infiniband the “dream” bus that should connect everything and 28Gb/s and up! All these buses share similar issues
But hey, it sure beats my 2.4kb/s modem (which I still have somewhere back in Jordan) 
Can you think of an application? Hint: Why would you keep a hard drive in your machine if you can boot at these speeds from a drive across the room, or the ocean! Pretty nifty huh?
So, what do you think? Isn’t this the PERFECT time for a Google OS? I think it’s coming soon, using virtualization technologies based on innovation in hardware like these.. The future is Soooooooooo exciting!

The *up to* is always important to you , I think you are right here too as you were on the mac book pro’s battery life, I will fix it now 
I read about your Google OS somewhere in your blog, but couldn’t comment about it because I was in a hurry for something ^^
But I agree with you, it’s coming soon with better abilities to search your computer files and files on other computers on the network
I think they are already working on it ^^
the technology’s future is soooooooooo exciting! I agree, but not anything else when you think of the environment, peace or even how the human will look like in one thousand years
